Working 9 to 5

Well, not really....
Whoo hoo! I have a job! And it’s not too bad either.
I’ve been with a temp agency for a few weeks now and they finally had work for me today. It was only supposed to be for the day, but the company liked me so much they offered me a job. For the next three weeks I’m working the day shift; Monday to Thursday, ten and a half hours a day. It’s factory work, so there’s not too much thinking involved. But the pay is half decent (a little more than I was getting at my last job) and I don’t have to send just over $1000 in gas every month like I was doing before.
Today, I put side airbags into car side panels for Toyota. My back hurts from standing all day, but it was very easy work.
I really missed being with Monkey today. I thought about him as I was working. I called home during one of my breaks to see how he was doing. He was coughing pretty badly when I left this morning. He’s so tired right now, but he won’t lie down. Thankfully my parents watched him while I ran around getting stuff ready for tomorrow morning. Packing a lunch, getting monkey and mine’s clothes ready and such. I was hoping to get in some scrapping time tonight, but I don’t think that is going to happen. I still need to shower and I have to go to bed early tonight. I’m used to going to bed around midnight, but monkey normally lets me sleep in until eight. I have to be out the door by 6:25 tomorrow morning. Yuck, waking up early.
Until next time…

Awww, I can totally understand how you would feel leaving your baby. Sounds like your new job will be great though!
